An Aerial Shot of a Portion of the Farm

The photograph above represents a portion of our 75-acre farm, which is located  2 miles West of Alexandria, Ohio, on State Route 37.

We are a three generation family farm and have been growing Christmas trees since 1957.

Varieties grown include Blue Spruce, Norway Spruce, White Pine, Scotch Pines, Canaan Fir,  Fraser Fir and Canadian Hemlock.  In the spring, we plant 4-year-old trees in open fields, fertilize trees, and monitor for insect damage, and fungal diseases in all fields. The majority of the summer is spent trimming and shaping the trees, with time out to mow between the rows to control vegetation and weeds. Fall finds us  for the harvest. We harvest anywhere from 1500 to 3000 Christmas trees per year.
